The active proteoglucan, often referred to as D-fraction by scientists, is a unique beta-glucan conjugated with protein, which has been identified and isolated as a responsible substance for potent immune-activating property of Maitake mushroom.

Grifron®-Pro Maitake D-Fraction® has been the subject of many clinical and non-clinical studies in the US, Japan and other countries. Grifron®-Pro Maitake D-Fraction® 1 oz. bottle contains 3,000 mg of PD-Fraction, which is standardized to contain more than 900 mg (30%) of the active proteoglucan.

(Please note that other maitake extract products on the market contain no more than 1,000 mg of crude extracts in 1 oz. Further, the levels of active substances in such crude extracts have never been disclosed.)
